Once again it promises to be a dynamic and transformational interaction that will continue to explore ways in which the Malawian tea industry can secure a profitable future and deliver positive and sustainable impacts on the livelihoods of workers and smallholder farmers.
Since we are halfway into the programme we will review the progress made so far on key areas of the roadmap and also consider where further progress is crucial if we are to deliver on the aims and objectives set out in the Malawi Tea 2020 MoU.
The Sustainable Procurement Mechanism debate promises to deliver interesting prospects for the programme. There will also be an opportunity to experience some of the key impacts the Malawi Tea 2020 programme has been able to deliver so far through direct interaction with workers and farmers.
